We Are Severn
Made through creative collaboration by Up Sewage Creek and MediaActive Projects, this short film reveals why everyday folk are driven to take action and stand up for nature.
In Shrewsbury, local people came together in response to the harm being caused by the regular dumping of sewage in the River Severn. Together they set up Up Sewage Creek. Through positive community activism they CHAMPION the Rights of the River Severn, INSPIRE and INFORM local people, and CHALLENGE those who could, and should, make change for the wellbeing of our rivers and the ecosystems that depend upon healthy water.
