ADVENTURES WITH ARCHIVES/HIDDEN TREASURES PROJECT
CREATIVE BRIEF
Work* with a small group(s) of young people (ideally aged 16 to 25, but could be a bit younger/older - up to 30), to create new audio pieces for archive film clips / or archive film mash ups.
The length of each piece should be around 30 seconds to 3 minutes, or if you prefer to make longer pieces, bare in mind we may share shorter clips of the work as well as posting the whole piece.
*with safeguarding practice in mind when involving anyone under 18 years; also with social distancing in mind/or completely virtually.
Any questions, feedback along the way, please email Richard - [email protected]
Archive film selection (ANDY)
Three of the films below are the original files which can be edited/re-mixed etc. Two of these currently have accompanying sound and music; this can either be removed entirely or 're-used' creatively. The other two films* have had the soundtrack removed for copyright purposes. However, as above, these films can be edited/re-mixed etc.
The bottom two films on this page are the0 edits put together for the 'Hidden Treasures' live event - just in case you want to work with these again.
As discussed with Richard and Sue, if you need any edits or archive 'mashups' made from the material on this page, please let Richard know the details...
NB: If necessary, we can WeTransfer these files over to you once the project begins...
