Creative Work Experience Opportunities
As part of the EXCITE programme we have a year-round programme of creative/work experience opportunities including Production Week placements.
Please register with EXCITE as you'll be the first to hear about opportunities that arise. To register select the above REGISTER WITH EXCITE HERE button.
Production Weeks are short term work placements for young people aged 15 - 18, and 19 - 25. They run during Year 10 and Year 12 work experience weeks, and at other times throughout the year.
If you gain a placement on a Production Week you will be part of a team tasked with delivering one of MediaActive's creative commissions. Over the years many creative media productions made through EXCITE have won awards, been part of a major public exhibition or event, or selected for festival screenings.
During the week each Production Team will work alongside Arts and Media professionals to deliver a creative commission. They will experience the realities of working to deadlines and to a brief whilst collaborating with other creatives. They will have opportunities to extend their knowledge, learn new skills, broaden their horizons, and understand more about the world of work and career options.
To apply for this opportunity you should be:
- genuinely interested in developing your creative and employability skills
- aged 15 - 25
