A showcasing of recent films made by the three regional academies MediaActive, based in Shropshire, The Company, based in Birmingham, and Rural Media Company based in Hereford.
Come along to BOM and find out about the incredible opportunities available to young people aged 16 to 19 under the BFI’s Film Academy talent development programme. You’ll have chance to meet Academy alumni, talk to staff from the regional Academy network partners MediaActive, Rural Media Company and The Company, and enjoy a selection of short films made by some of the region’s finest emerging talent.

About BFI Film Academy
To help develop the next generation of British film industry talent the lead body for film in the UK, the British Film Institute (BFI), in partnership with BAFTA, Pinewood Studios and the Department for Education are now offering young people aged 16 to 19 years industry based training and work experience through the national BFI Film Academy Network.
